Personal Shopping Isn't Just For Rich People: Whyte Studio X Topshop
Hidden on the third floor of the Soho Topshop store was the private personal shopping room that hosted the festival drop event. The vibe: I was welcomed by smiles from the stylists, a large sofa, fruit salad, (my favorite- endless macaroons) wine and separate changing rooms with gigantic mirrors.
Before pursuing my fashion/lifestyle blog, I used to think that personal shopping was for rich people. I guess this was from wrong misconceptions, and watching too much movies like “The Devil Wears Prada”. But honey let me tell you, I was wrong. As a personal shopper rookie, I decided to give it a shot. And, I am so thrilled that I took this opportunity because the collection pieces from Whyte Studio was impressive, fun and unique…This event showcased the designer, Bianca Whyte’s festival pieces. Why? Because it’s festival time around the world—especially in NY and people want interesting statement pieces to bring the heat/flair when going out.
WHYTE STUDIO™ BY DESIGNER BIANCA WHYTE™ IS A LUXURY OUTERWEAR BRAND THAT WILL INTRODUCE ICONIC AND CREATIVE STAPLE PIECES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE WEARER’S INDIVIDUAL STYLE.
When I saw those bright colors in the rooms, I was enthralled. Colors make me happy because of the energy that I receive. Above, Bianca has on one of her favorite pieces—it’s a bodysuit that she paired with a bright flirty neon layover skirt piece and then she made it pop more with one of her iconic belts. How beautiful and creative does she look? I loved the edginess about her outfit and her confidence to own it!!! This is what I love about fashion—wearing what you love and owning it.
This is the marvelous outfit that I tried on, and as you can see I love my macaroons. I have on a classy bodysuit that I loved…and I especially came for this skirt- and I wasn’t leaving without it. I love the logo print and design, and eventually the fit. It’s so unique, sexy and everything that I love. It’s one of those statement pieces that I know for sure, everyone will ask me where did I get it from and I will be sure to tell them…Whyte Studio. (Ooooh and I was gifted a cute black top with the option to pair with the skirt :) Currently the collection only goes up to a US size 10, but Bianca’s next collection will be available in more sizes soon. Stay tuned!
Personal shopping is indeed a luxury service and it is associated with wealthy or the elite society..but it doesn’t have to be if you conduct your research, budget yourself properly and know what you want and how much you can afford. Because I am far from rich, but I do know how to prioritize and make things work in my favor. Whyte Studio, I had an incredible experience and love your designs. The experience for me felt natural, relaxing and comforting. The environment was warming, intimate and the stylists were lovely; they didn’t pressure me into buying anything, just offered advice. I felt comfortable and well taken care of, as if you all cared and wanted my best interest. Thank you for making my first personal shopping experience worth my while and remarkable. And thank you Topshop for providing the space for the event to be fabulous.
