Aranyani's Mission Through Ethical & Sustainability Fashion

Aranyani's Mission Through Ethical & Sustainability Fashion

In lieu of Earth Month, AzArAm hosted Aranyani’s event at the Dreams On Air boutique in Soho last Thursday evening. I didn’t know much about the brand, but I was enthused to learn more about their mission and how they incorporate sustainability with fashion.

“Aranyani is a fashion bag brand inspired by nature relying on heritage motifs and artisanal crafts of India interpreted in a contemporary aesthetic. The artisanal & distinctive pieces infuse the harmonious creation between artistry and timeless craftsmanship. Driven by the beauty of nature, Aranyani is committed to delivering unparalleled art forms while achieving positive impact.

ARANYANI is proudly aligned with the United Nation 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to achieve dignity, peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future.”

These are some of the hand painted leather handbags from the brand that are being sold in the Dreams On Air boutique.

When speaking to the founder of Aranyani, Haresh Mirpuri, I learned that each bag is originated from India and they all have a story behind them. Basically, a lot of natural elements are used to help with the designing of the bags. How cool is that!—-the bags are high quality but also sustainable for the environment. I love this concept that people are connected to and by nature. In my head I envisioned many years ago when people would sit around by a fireside and listen to stories told by the elders. Those were the family moments you looked forward to because they were so impactful. And, Aranyani is definitely a brand that believes in creating fashion to impact the world globally. This is amazing and one of my passions as I continue to further my humanitarian work in my future endeavors. I am blessed to have the opportunity to connect with people who are all about empowerment, human rights, and how to make a difference in the world on a larger scale. This is inspiring.
