I Want A Ticket To Anywhere

To learn is to Experience and to Experience is to LIVE. My purpose in life is to see the world. I want to go everywhere where my heart takes me. People tend to ask me why I choose where I travel to and I tell them because I can…it’s just that simple. I have a valid passport, a job, the time off and I GO. But seriously though, when I see a reasonable priced ticket in a country that I am interested in, I book it. I will no longer broadcast my travels to people until I am ready to go or when I am posting a picture to social media for my blog purposes. I understand people have safety concerns, and I am grateful for that but sometimes people can put a damper on your decisions with their opinions. And, there’s no more hesitation or trying to find people who are willing to travel with me. I have traveled enough to go by myself or make my own plans because only YOU can hold YOU back. Plus, the more I travel, is the more I am learning about myself. Absolutely invigorating!

I always immerse in the culture and talk a lot with the locals when I travel to a new country. This is who I am and how I learn. I don’t want fear to hold me back from my experiences. Every country is different and amazing within itself. In the picture above, I was engaging with those sweet and playful little Colombian girls. It was such a pleasure to see them walking around barefoot as they watched their parents sell their handcrafted goods to people. This reminded me of my childhood in Jamaica when I used to play around in the yard with my peers. I was so amazed at how happy they were and full of so much innocence. It brought a sense of peace and lifted a lot of burden off my mind. This was one of my best moments in Colombia and these are the moments I look forward to when in a new country. EPIC!

So I am very excited about my upcoming future travels and I can’t wait for the day when I can travel with my kid. Oh yes, I am not stopping once I have a baby. The traveling continues as long as my life continues. That is all for now. I will see you guys soon…xoxo
